I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor and have been providing therapy for children, adolescents, and adults since 2002.

I specialize in working with survivors of trauma and related emotional obstacles, interpersonal relationship issues (including codependency), and behavioral difficulties (including substance use disorders and other addictive behaviors). In addition, I work with a variety of other issues (e.g., mood and anxiety disorders, grief, and social difficulties).

I enjoy working with people from all different backgrounds and I value the unique circumstances each person brings with him or her regarding all aspects of diversity. I use a dynamic approach to therapy, drawing from several specialties including client centered, interpersonal, motivational, acceptance-commitment, and cognitive behavioral techniques.

My primary therapy goals are to create a safe environment for client self-exploration and increase client awareness through direct, open, reciprocal communication.
