I am a licensed mental health counselor that provides individual, family and couples therapy to clients aged 12+ (with the exception of ages 2-7 for PCIT). I prefer to work with those struggling with complex/chronic trauma, substance use, non-suicidal self-injury, religious struggles, sexual impairments, and especially relationship issues. I work with people with diverse identities, such as LGBT, non-monogamous, etc.

I use an integrative approach in my practice where I combine different therapeutic approaches and tools to best fit the needs of my clients. I am trained to competently provide the following modalities: Parent Child Interaction Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Ego State, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing.

My personality comes through my work by boundless optimism in human nature, sense of humor, motivation to connect with others in a meaningful way, and a calling to guide people on their healing journey. I am a nerd that loves research and statistics, so I look to the experts to find what has been proven to work the best. In my personal life, I am a partner of 19 years, and a parent to a son, 2 daughters, and an aussiepoo. In what precious free time I have, I'm learning how to watercolor paint, and becoming a responsible plant caretaker. I enjoy all things board game, sci-fi, and (warm) outdoors.
