I am a licensed psychologist and health service provider in the state of Iowa. I am a generalist who provides therapy services to adults. I work with concerns such as: anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, identity development, LGBTQ+ concerns, interpersonal and relationship concerns, career concerns and career changes, acculturation issues, life transitions, and more.

I practice therapy from an interpersonally-focused and cognitive-behavioral approach. I also prioritize a holistic approach to well-being, and I value getting to know and understand who you are as a whole person and as a cultural being. In therapy, I strive to create a safe and collaborative working relationship with every client. I also welcome humor and playfulness in the therapy room when appropriate - after all, learning more about yourself can be a very refreshing and joyful process!

I received my PhD from Iowa State University and completed my internship and post-doctoral residency at the University of Missouri's Counseling Center. When I'm not working, I enjoy reading, crafting, listening to birds, looking at stars, going on walks, exploring new neighborhoods, and spending time with my family, friends, and cat.
