John Avritt is a PhD in Counselor Education from Texas Tech University and is licensed in both Iowa and Texas. Dr. Avritt specializes in adult and adolescent therapy, primarily utilizing cognitive behavior therapy and solution focused therapy. He also does extensive work with soldiers as a Master Resiliency Trainer, training military leadership on resiliency skills and techniques. He formerly was the coordinator for counseling services at Texas State Technical College in Waco.
