I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) who graduated from Iowa State University with my Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and from Loyola University in Chicago with my Master’s degree in Social Work.
I provide individual, couples, and family therapy for all ages and use a strength-based approach. I think it’s important to highlight and emphasize a person’s strengths throughout the therapeutic process in order to promote growth and change. I use this approach within a variety of therapeutic modalities including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectic Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Family Systems, and Play Therapy.
Everybody goes through difficult times in their life. If you are having trouble adjusting to various life circumstances, or if you are struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma or other mental health issues, please reach out. I also provide support for parents, as well as parent coaching. I look forward to meeting you and walking with you on this journey.
