I graduated with a B.S. in Psychology from Iowa State University and a Masters in Social Work from Loyola University in Chicago. I specialized in children and family therapy from 2001 until 2006 then transitioned into a stay at home mom until 2016. I love spending time with my 5 children and family, being outside, running, reading, and going to sports activities.
When I began working at Central Iowa Psychological Services, I now specialize in couples, families, and individual counseling. I have experience in residential care along with several other forms of therapy including ACT, CBT, DBT, Family Systems, Play Therapy, and Strength Based. I am happy to work with individuals of all ages experiencing issues with Trauma, Adjustment, Parenting, Anxiety, Depression, and/or PTSD.
