E. Lang, LMHC, NCC
Licensed Mental Health Counselor
Children,
teens, college students, adults, couples, and families
In
my practice I provide therapy to children, teens, adults, couples,
and families. I enjoy working with a broad array of clients with a
variety of presenting issues including: adjustment disorders, transitional
concerns, depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, anger, ADHD, addiction,
personality disorders, gender identity, behavioral problems, and relationship
issues. I assist clients to empower themselves to be the best they
can be through self knowledge and awareness. I believe that not one
of us is exempt from complex times and issues that can get in the
way of day to day functioning, preventing us from being happy, and
reaching personal goals. I trust that we all make our own meaning
in life, and the challenges we face on a daily basis can help us grow
and become stronger when we view problems as opportunities for growth.
I help clients become aware of areas in their lives that are causing
them to get "stuck" identifying the situation, and addressing
the difficulties in a compassionate, non-judgmental environment. I
teach coping skills that help clients change faulty thinking patterns
to more realistic beliefs that promote healthy thoughts, and actions.
My goal is to aid clients reach their specific life goals, achieving
peace in their being, by using their personal individual strengths,
experiences, and values that are unique to them.
