My specialty is counseling children and adolescents. I also enjoy working with young adults. I use play therapy typically with the younger kids and focus much of my work on Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy. Areas I focus on include anger management, depression/anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, Adjustment issues, grief, abuse and trauma.

I'm new to Central Iowa Psychological Services and welcome new clients. I believe that it's important to partner with the client and work as a collaborative team. My goal is to help equip families and individuals with life enhancing tools and skills so they can feel empowered to manage life's challenges and realize their dreams and ambitions as they grow and change.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Nationally Certified Counselor. I received my degree from the University of Northern Iowa. My specialty is counseling children and adolescents.
